July 29th at the Farmers’ Market, Water – keeping it clean (and fun!)

Water is everywhere in Hunterdon. From the Delaware River to the Raritan, and everywhere in between where streams and brooks criss cross the county. From clean drinking water to recreation, protecting water quality is central to our county’s health and economy.

This Sunday, July 29th, at the Farmers’ Market we’ll be taking a look at some of the many ways water is crucial to our well being. Delaware Riverkeeper will be on hand to talk about their work to maintain, monitor, and restore the River and its tributaries. And Paddle Creek of Frenchtown will be at our Community Corner tent to fill you in on the many ways you can get out and enjoy the Delaware.

Be sure to come to the Hunterdon Land Trust tent, you can find out how land preservation protects water quality and have the chance to win a kayak trip for two donated by Paddle Creek! Raffle tickets are just $5 or $20 for five.
