Conservation Conversation: Backyard Forestry

Learn all about backyard forestry and how to properly plant and maintain trees in your backyard at our next Conservation Conversation this Wednesday (April 17) at 5:30 p.m.
Join us and share your ideas on caring for trees. Topics will likely include the best places to plant trees, what trees to plant, ash trees and the emerald ash borer, and proper tree maintenance.

Our special guest will be Pam Zipse, outreach coordinator for the Rutgers University Urban Forestry Program.

This talk will be held in the Dvoor Farm’s wagon house at 111 Mine St., Flemington.

Conservation Conversations are peer-to-peer learning opportunities — not lectures. Everyone is encouraged to participate in an active discussion on a variety of thought-provoking topics while meeting others who share your interests.

This is a FREE program, but please pre-register by emailing judy@hunterdonlandtrust.org or calling 908-237-4582. Light refreshments will be served.
Conservation Conversations are supported by a grant from The Tyler Foundation.
