Explore Hunterdon, Hiking Day at the Farmers’ Market August 26

A Vision for the Future

Join us at the Hunterdon Land Trust’s Farmers’ Market at the Historic Dvoor Farm for a special day highlighting hiking on Sunday, August 26, 9 am to 1 pm. We’re very lucky to live in a county with so many parks and so much preserved land. The variety of hikes, from an easy stroll to a challenging work out, and the different types of terrain you can find here in Hunterdon are a real gift.

Pick up the Hunterdon Land Trust’s map guides for local properties and find out how to explore the county’s natural beauty on foot from these special guests:

• Ron Good from the Hunterdon Hiking Club, part of the Division of Parks and Recreation, will share his tips on packing for different types of hikes and have information on hiking trails in county parks.

John Morgan Thomas Architects will share Raritan Township’s plan for a new trial running right through the Hunterdon Land Trust’s headquarters at the Historic Dvoor Farm.

• Author of “You Can Get There From Here: Hiking on Hunterdon County Trials” Sue Dziamara can show you how to get where you want to go.

See you Sunday!
