Gearing Up For a Fabulous
Sunday Farmers’ Market

Get your week off to a terrific start by picking up some healthy food at the Farmers’ Market and learning everything you need to know to enjoy bicycling in Hunterdon County. Our Farmers’ Market is open from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Dvoor Farm on the Route 12 circle in Raritan Township.

Here’s an easy-to-make yogurt smoothie that’s power-packed with natural goodness for your body. Yogurt can be purchased from Fulper Farms, wheatgrass from Hollandview Farm, and strawberries from Phillips Farms or Sandbrook Meadow Farm.

Strawberry Wheatgrass Smoothie

yogurt yummyIngredients:

  • 2 cups vanilla or plain almond milk
  • 3 tablespoons vanilla or plain yogurt
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries
  • ½ frozen wheatgrass pulp
  • 1 teaspoon maca root powder


Combine all ingredients in your blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately. Makes two servings.

Special Events

For our annual Bike Day, HART Commuter Information Services will visit the market and offer free bicycle helmet fittings; bicycle route maps and local ride information and bike safety information. A “League of American Bicyclists” certified instructor will also be available to answer your bicycling questions. HART is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting sustainable transportation in Hunterdon County by working with commuters, employers and communities.

New Jersey Audubon Society offers premium black oil sunflower seed and beautiful cedar bird houses and bird feeders that are all marked with the “Jersey Grown” label. Profits raised go toward restoring grassland bird habitat in New Jersey.
