HLT’s Winter Farmers’ Market


Who says you can’t get great local food in the winter?

The Hunterdon Land Trust’s winter Farmers’ Market kicks off its sixth season on Sunday, Dec. 2 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Dvoor Farm wagon house, 111 Mine St. in Flemington.

Other winter market dates are: Dec. 16; Jan. 6 and 20; Feb. 3 and 17; March 3 and 17; April 7; May 5. Please note there won’t be a Farmers’ Market on Easter Sunday, April 21.

Shoppers are encouraged to check the Hunterdon Land Trust’s website, Facebook or Instagram pages in case inclement weather forces the market to be canceled.

This year, shoppers will find 14 farmers and vendors. While most vendors will attend the market throughout the winter, a few will appear on specific market dates. Please visit HLT’s website for details:

  • Aquasprouts Farm — lettuce and kale.
  • Bobolink Dairy and Bakehouse – artisan breads, a variety of cheeses – including cave-ripened cheddar, baudolino and drum – and pasta made with emmer wheat.
  • Comeback Farm – organic produce.
  • Fieldstone Coffee Roasters – coffee (including beans and ground), teas and more.
  • Fired Up Flatbread Co. food truck – pizza, pastries and beverages.
  • Local 130 Seafood — fresh seafood.
  • Oak Grove Angus Farm — Angus beef.
  • Pickle Licious — Wide variety of pickles, olives and sun-dried tomatoes.
  • Purely Farm – eggs, pastured pork and turkey.
  • River Lea House – assortment of garlics including cooking garlic, hummus, black garlic, vegan butter, garlic scape pesto and garlic butter.
  • Sandbrook Meadow Farm – organic produce.
  • Toadshade Wildflower Farm – native plant seeds, teas and nuts. (Returns in March!)
  • Will’s Amazing Vegan Burgers – Frozen, home-made vegan burgers that are soy-free, dairy-free and gluten-free, and sauces including sun-dried tomato ketchup.
  • WoodsEdge Farm – llama and alpaca products, honey.
