What’s Happening at the Farmers’ Market This Week

Stop by the Dvoor Farm, 111 Mine St. in Raritan Township, for our Farmers’ Market this Sunday! We’re open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

You’ll find a host of summertime favorites including beets, carrots, cucumbers, fennel, garlic, tomatoes, summer squash, peaches, green peppers, eggplant, tomatillos, hot peppers and onions.

Also, if you have a case of the summertime blues, then we have a cure! Feel refreshed, rejuvenated and centered with a Sunday morning yoga session with instructor Lauren Theis at the Dvoor Farm. Yoga begins at 8 a.m. in our wagon house — just before the market opens. Cost is $12, and no advanced registration is required. Just show up with your yoga mat!

Come listen to DBB Jazz in our music tent from 10 a.m. to noon. Four years ago the DBB Jazz Trio was formed out of a local bossa nova sextet. Bassist Darla Tarpinian, guitarist Rich “Bucky” Tarpinian, and mandolinist Bo Child bring to their audiences a blend of jazz standards, cool jazz, gypsy jazz, blues, and bossa nova, with a few other musical surprises thrown in.
